Magura Winery Label

Magura Winery's Enigmatic Label: A Story Carved in Time

Established in 1967, Magura Winery is cradled in Bulgaria’s Rabisha village, amidst the striking landscape between the Danube and the Belogradchick cliffs. This region, home to the awe-inspiring Magura Cave, sets the backdrop for a winery born out of a vision to satisfy the discerning palates of both local and international wine lovers. The winery’s strategic use of the cave’s ‘Bat gallery’ has long been its secret to maturing wines that carry the essence of time and terroir.

Designing modern elegance:

In capturing the spirit of Magura Winery’s storied tradition, our design partner, the Labelmaker, faced a unique challenge: to create a label that marries the winery’s rich heritage with a touch of modern sophistication. The result is a label that not only reflects the winery’s innovative use of its natural cellar but also embodies the modernity of its wines.

Innovative design meets printing mastery:

The label design pays tribute to the Magura Cave’s geological splendor, featuring dual-layered paper that echoes the cave’s contours. At the forefront is the Magura logo, silver matte foil and pronounced embossing create a striking brand statement, marrying elegance with visual impact. The prehistoric art found within the cave is represented in stunning detail, with figures stamped in gold and copper that come alive under varying light.

With the launch of this new label, Magura Winery not only continues its tradition of producing exquisite wines but also introduces a visual narrative that speaks to the enthusiasts’ desire for history and innovation in each bottle. We are honored to contribute to this narrative, bringing to life a label that stands as a testament to the winery’s legacy and the timeless allure of Bulgaria’s natural wonders.
