In the world of premium wines, the label isn’t just decoration — it’s an invitation. For Erzetic Amfora Premium Wines, the task was to create a wine label that would perfectly complement their unique amphora-inspired bottle while conveying a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and modern elegance. At Dagaprint, we worked alongside the Labelmaker to bring this vision to life, crafting a design that seamlessly blends minimalist beauty with functional precision.
A minimalist label that speaks volumes:
The Erzetic Amfora label tells a story through simplicity. Designed to embrace the amphora-shaped bottle’s slender curves, the label creates a sense of flow that feels natural and refined. The label’s base material, a textured black paper, reflects light subtly, adding a luxurious sheen that enhances the bottle’s overall aesthetic.
Every design choice was made to complement the bottle, not compete with it—resulting in a harmonious balance between form and function.
Veliki Vrh: A Symbol of Heritage
The centerpiece of the label is a striking depiction of Veliki Vrh, a mountain that carries deep meaning for the Erzetic brand. This element connects the Amfora series to the winery’s roots and broader portfolio.
Key design details:
- Copper matte foil: The mountain is rendered in warm copper tones, giving it a timeless, premium feel.
- Embossed and microembossed contours: The mountain’s contours are brought to life with layers of embossing, adding depth and inviting touch.
- Nature-inspired transition: The mountain peaks seamlessly into a stylized tree, representing Erzetic’s commitment to nature and heritage.
This fusion of texture and symbolism ensures that the label tells a story even before the wine is tasted.
Typography that enhances minimalism:
Beneath the mountain motif, the word “Amfora” is elegantly displayed in a sleek, modern typeface. Transparent embossing varnish gives the lettering a subtle texture and shine, drawing the eye without overwhelming the design.
At the base of the label, the wine varietal is presented with clarity, completing the design with a touch of sophistication.
While the label captures attention, the amphora-inspired bottle is its perfect partner. The elongated, tactile design of the bottle reflects the artisanal roots of winemaking while standing out in the premium wine market. Vertical embossing of the words “ERZETIC” and “Vishnjevik” adds a refined detail to the bottle’s surface, complementing the label’s minimalist aesthetic.
To bring this intricate label to life, Dagaprint employed cutting-edge printing techniques to ensure flawless execution:
