Taking the past into the future: A label redesign for Bien Nacido’s Estate Tier wines
Bien Nacido Estate is renowned for producing high-quality wines. The estate, located in the Santa Maria Valley of California, has been in operation since 1973 and spans over 2,800 acres, including 800 acres of vineyards known for producing some of the finest grapes in the region.
After many years on the market, the brand needed a new fresh look representing its high-quality products. For their new labels, the brand reached out to our partner and renowned designer, the Labelmarker, while we executed the implementation.
The overarching objective of the project was to create a refined, elegant, and ageless design that would honor the Bien Nacido vineyard’s renowned adobe dwelling. The freshly crafted label showcases the iconic adobe house in a gold-foil embossed print on deluxe paper. The label is designed in two parts, gracefully complementing the traditional burgundy bottle and its gold capsule. The renewed design exudes an undying sophistication that bestows a premium and top-notch appearance, with the aim to place the Estate Tier wines in the highest echelon.
In order to bring the design to life, we meticulously attended to every detail, ensuring that we faithfully captured and executed the label maker’s original vision. Our collaborative efforts culminated in a refined and sophisticated new label design that propels the Estate Tier wines to unprecedented levels of excellence. This project serves as a prime illustration of how a well-crafted design can encapsulate the essence of a wine and visually convey its exceptional caliber.
